So, this is a famous steakhouse that serves you 3 things: salad *not pictured but super fucking good*, meat, and fries. So basic, but SO amazing. The salad had a dressing that had olive oil and Dijon mustard. Like I said, simple, but amazing. I scarfed it down so fast and sopped up any dressing left on my plate with a baguette. The meat was really good. It was just one cut smothered in sauce that is too heavenly to describe. I got medium, ate 2 servings, and ate all the fries... to be fair, I hadn't eaten all day and we ran AND waited to eat here IN THE RAIN for about an hour or so SO JUDGE ME IF YOU WANT BUT I'M EATING GOOD To be honest, I don't know what the name of the dessert was but it was vanilla ice cream in a cream puff smothered in fudge. like are you joking??? Can't go wrong. I wish there were some strawberries with it too though because it was SO rich but I'm not complaining. ‍ *if you ever come here, a line starts to form BEFORE it even opens so get hear EARLY to be in the first wave of tables seated. This is why we waited for so long but it was so worth it. You can see how busy it was in the last photo. That line wrapped down the block... *

Le Relais de l'Entrecôte is a classic spot if you're craving steak frites. The concept is simple--they only serve one main dish: steak with their signature sauce and fries. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was quick despite how busy it was, and the atmosphere felt charming and lively. If you're looking for variety, this isn't the place, but if you love steak and fries, it's a must-try... just be prepared to wait in line for 60 minutes + for a table. Its worth the wait...

For the first time ever the line at the Entrecôte wasn't too bad, we estimated the wait to be 10-20mins. So we picked up a red umbrella and waited in line to be seated. We got seated within 15mins. We ordered their entrecôte and we got the refill. I couldn't say this was the best steak I've had but it was good for the price paid. The restaurant is old and has some history to it. I wouldn't come here again unless the line was short.

After hearing so much about this famous steak frites spot I had to try it for myself. The wait was surprisingly only 15-20 minutes but we arrived late around 9pm on a Wednesday. The service was also very quick because they only ask you how you want your steak cooked and thats it. They come over with a starter salad which was good and then the star of the show is the steak frites with their delicious green sauce. You can get 2 plates full of steak frites for only 26 euro per person.

I understand this may be a tourist trap but do not pass it up!! We came on a Monday around 10pm and waited about 45 minutes for our party of 4. Once seated though service is crazy quick!! The meal starts with a salad with a delicious mustardy vinegrette which was refreshing and of course some fresh crusty bread!! Then the steak frites comes and everyone gets 2 portions (they are on the smaller end so don't be alarmed) The sauce on the steak was great but my one thing is that you have 3 options for steak cooking but they seemed kind of random as to whether you got rare or medium or whatever. The fries were delicious as well!! To end the meal we got creme brille and protiferoles and both were just so rich and delicious. Shoutout to our waitress who was so nice and such a lovely restaurant!!

Iconic Parisian spot. You don't have a lot choices: just desserts, a limited cocktail/wine list and of course how you want your steak cooked. Your meal starts with a lettuce salad with walnuts and horse radish, while simple it tastes surprisingly good. Then comes the main course the fries and the steak I got mine medium and it came out more medium rare. Don't ask for ketchup. But the fries and steak sauce are incredible. The waiters are all women dressed in timeless but 1950s type outfits. I highly recommend the food here but expect to wait quite a while if you don't show up before it opens. I think the trick is show up at 6p about 30 mins before the place opens. Ambiance is also nice gives me Swiss French Hofbrau vibes.

If you want excellent steak frites, this is the place. "Le Relais de l'Entrecote," together with its sister chain "Le Relais de Venise," exclusively specializes in this French delicacy. There are multiple units in Paris and elsewhere. I'm a big fan!! But get there early because they don't accept reservations and the place is always packed. Today I spent 35 euros for their set menu (one person), which includes bread, a salad, and an abundance of steak frites, in addition to sparkling water. There are no other menu alternatives, other than different beverages and extensive dessert options. Often portions are small in France, especially for someone coming from the US like me, but that's not the case in this restaurant! They serve you heaping quantities of steak and fries! Love it! And their service is always courteous and efficient.

Definitely do not miss the chance to go here! It was one of the best meals I've had during my trip to Paris! They are experts in steak and frites and everything was done to perfection! The sauce was my favorite part as well. And if you're thinking about dessert, definitely go for it because it was a great cap to the dinner. The service was very attentive and quick. Don't let the line out the door deter you from trying out this place! They don't take reservations so plan accordingly. The place was super clean and light up and I love the whole experience of it.
